Agriculture Minister Joe Helper said despite a production delay, growers of organic fruit and vegetables are being assured that supplies of the chemical Green Guard will arrive before hatchings are predicted. Meanwhile, Nationals Member for Rodney, Paul Weller, has warned that a shortage of bio-insecticide to fight the threat of locusts on organic farms could threaten bio-dynamic dairy farmers in northern Victoria.
